Brandi and I had the opportunity to go fly with Keith Ward, who owns a gorgeous RV-7. This was the first time either of us had ever been in a plane other than a Cessna or RV-10. I was grinning ear to ear just hopping over to the next field to fuel up and Keith was telling me I hadn’t seen anything yet. We proceeded to do a loop, aileron roll, barrel roll and a hammer head! I had never done any aerobatics before and it was definitely the coolest thing I had ever done in my life!! I was caught off guard because Keith was like, this is how you do this maneuver and he would show me and then he’s like ok now you try. When we landed my jaw literally was sore from grinning so much. Riding in the 7 almost made building a 10 regrettable. I still have doubts every once in awhile. I know that the -10 is what I want but wow would a 7 be fun! I want to gush about this experience some more because I could go on and on but there’s no words to describe how much fun I had. Thank you Keith.
