We've been so busy renovating and moving into our new house! We've done tons already and much more to do. Most excitingly is we finally got through county permitting for a build permit for the hangar. It was a lot more involved than I thought it would be and it took 3 months to get through the variance process. The county code doesnt allow for sq ft of accessory buildings larger than 50% of house sq ft and also they dont allow metal siding. We had to submit a bunch of paperwork then attend a public hearing to get the board to vote on it and fortunately we got a yes vote!
With that out of the way, the land has been graded and a concrete slab poured! We're building a 60' x 50' hangar from Hornet Steel Buildings and going with a 52' door from Higher Power. The yard is a construction zone and we hope to start erecting by end of month. We're stoked!
